A staple song in Black movies … Ooh-Child. “Things are gonna get easier.”

When I listen to this song, it takes me directly to that scene in the movie      Boyz N the Hood where Trey is coming back from his fishing trip with his dad and this starts to play in the car. 

And even the scene in Crooklyn when Troy is about to attend her mom’s funeral…. Immediately brought me to tears the first time I watched it. Classic.
